Serving in the General Assembly is an honor, and anyone who steps forward to serve deserves respect for that commitment. But elections are ultimately about results, priorities, and vision. As your next State Representative, I will bring a fresh perspective, an unwavering focus on our community, and the determination to challenge the status quo whenever it is not working for Greenwich.
The Cost of Hartford’s Status Quo
Families across our district are feeling the pressure every day. The cost of living continues to climb. Property taxes remain a burden. Energy bills are among the highest in the country. Traffic congestion grows worse each year. State mandates continue to erode local decision-making, while changes in education funding require Greenwich taxpayers to do more with less. These are not partisan talking points—they are the everyday realities facing our families, seniors, and small businesses.
For too long, Hartford has embraced a one-size-fits-all approach that too often overlooks communities like ours. Greenwich contributes enormously to Connecticut’s economy, yet our taxpayers frequently pay more and receive less. We deserve a representative who will stand up for our town—not simply accept policies that shift more costs onto local taxpayers.
Fiscal Responsibility Must Come First
That starts with fiscal responsibility. Connecticut will never become more affordable unless state government learns to live within its means. I will fight for responsible budgeting, greater transparency and accountability, and policies that encourage businesses to invest, grow, and create jobs here instead of looking elsewhere. Every taxpayer deserves confidence that their hard-earned dollars are being spent wisely and efficiently.
Greenwich Deserves Fair School Funding
One issue that perfectly illustrates the need for stronger advocacy is Connecticut’s school construction reimbursement formula. Despite contributing significantly to the state’s tax base, Greenwich receives one of the lowest reimbursement rates for major school construction projects because of the state’s outdated wealth formula. The result is simple: local taxpayers shoulder a far greater share of the cost of building and maintaining the safe, modern schools our children deserve. I will work to reform this inequitable system, so Greenwich families receive the fair treatment they have earned while continuing to support quality education across Connecticut.
Jobs, Growth and Fiscal Stability
The 151st District also needs a representative who understands that a strong economy benefits everyone. Businesses create jobs, strengthen our tax base, and support the quality of life that makes Greenwich such a special place to live. We should be reducing unnecessary regulations, encouraging responsible economic development, and creating a stable fiscal climate that gives employers and families the confidence to invest in Connecticut’s future.
An Independent Voice in Hartford
Most importantly, I believe effective leadership is about solving problems—not scoring political points. The people of our district deserve a representative who will build relationships, work across party lines, ask difficult questions, and stand up for constituents regardless of political pressure. With one party holding a legislative supermajority in Hartford, independent voices are more important than ever. Healthy debate, accountability, and bipartisan cooperation produce better policy and better outcomes for Connecticut.
For the past four years, the 151st District has been represented in Hartford by a member of the Democratic supermajority. While I respect anyone who serves in public office, I believe our district needs a stronger independent voice—one willing to challenge Hartford when its policies increase costs, weaken local control, or leave Greenwich taxpayers carrying more of the burden. This election is not about personalities; it is about results. It is about choosing the kind of representation that will fight every day to put Greenwich first.
A Clear Choice for the 151st
My campaign offers voters an opportunity for new leadership, renewed energy, and a stronger advocate for the issues that matter most: affordability, education, public safety, transportation, fiscal responsibility, and protecting local control.
On Election Day, the choice is clear. We can continue with the same approach that has left too many families struggling with higher costs, more mandates, and greater burdens, or we can choose a representative who will fight every day to make Connecticut more affordable, more accountable, and more responsive to the communities it serves.
